Foreign Investors are coming and the companies will merge
as we get closer to NATO and the European Union

Big, world-wide known names will not come to Montenegro because of the subsidies, which are like alcohol: as long as they last it is nice, but when it comes to a sobering it could be very bad. We need to grow and develop much faster than we are growing and developing at the moment, because we are not becoming fast enough compared to the competition. I am convinced that the well–known companies will merge here as we get closer to NATO and European Union,“ Prof. Dr. Petar Ivanovic, Director of Montenegrin Investment Promotion Agency – MIPA, said in an interview, who expects that FDI in 2011 will move into the range of 660-730 million euro, unlike the last year when the FDI amounted to 692 million euro.

“Great investors seek safety, financial stability, clear rules and economic freedom”, said Prof. Dr. Petar Ivanovic.
